An even competition in women’s cross-country skiing – Pärmäkoski captures bronze brilliantly
Therese Johaug from Norway is skiing to victory after an even race. She commented that she enjoys races there the competition is hard. Sweden’s 22-year-old Ebba Andersson is also skiing fast today, finishing second in the competition. Andersson tells that she gets more motivation for training from her competitor sibling Therese Johaug.
-Johaug should be careful and not get too used to gold medals, Andersson warns playfully.
Finland’s Krista Pärmäkoski skis today brilliantly and she is skiing nicely to the podium. She is deservedly pleased with her performance. Pärmäkoski says that she really enjoys skiing in Finland.

Johaug also says that she is impressed by the good conditions in Lahti, despite the not-snowy winter: ” It is always nice to ski in Lahti in good conditions in front of an encouraging race audience. I am particularly impressed by how well the organizers managed to get good conditions in Lahti.”
