Lahti is located less than an hour from the Helsinki-Vantaa Airport and therefore is very easily reached from the airport.


The Ring Rail line brings an easy connection from Helsinki-Vantaa Airpot to all over Finland. The train takes approximately 50 minutes from the Airport to Lahti.

The bus from Helsinki-Vantaa Airport leaves once on hour and the journey takes about an hour and 20 minutes.

Both long-distance buses and trains stop at the Travel Centre. Lahti Travel Centre is located in the transport hub of the city centre next to the existing railway station and it’s in a walking distance from the Lahti Sport Centre. You can also continue your journey by local bus, because most of the local buses stop at the Travel Centre too.

Public Transport

Public transport of Lahti Lahden seudun liikenne will have a bus ticket with special price during the weekend 28.2-1.3.2020. The bus ticket is 1€ and you can only buy it from the LSL app with code SALPPURI2020. You can buy the ticket for A-D zones and the discount is available from Friday 8 am until Sunday 8 pm.

Lahden Aluetaksi has a taxi stand at Ski Stadium near the main gate. Taxi service will be available 24/7. You can also get the taxi by calling 0601 100 01.

Parking for the audience

We recommend to park at the Old Bus Station (Kartanonkatu), parking hall at Toriparkki (Rauhankatu 13) or at Ståhlberginkatu.
