Germany and Norway early favourites for nordic combined
Germany and Norway are favourites to win nordic combined. Germany's olympic gold medalist Johannes Rydzek is fighting for another medal. Norway's Espen Bjørnstad had the farthest jump out of the Norwegians on the trial round with a 130 metre jump. Austrian Gruber Bernhard is also favourite for a podium finish after winning the nordic combined team sprint.
Finns Ilkka Herola and Eero Hirvonen will be crowd's favourite after finishing third on nordic combined team sprint. Hirvonen jumped 124 metres on the trial round.
