Team Norway was victorious in Salpausselkä on Saturday. The Norwegian ski jumping team finished the amazing day by bringing home the victory in ski jumping team competition. Norway (Marius Lindvik, Daniel Andre Tande, Robert Johansson, Halvor Egner Granerud) was on top ahead of Poland and Germany.

– It was a really good today. Five teams fighting for the win, and us Norwegians coming out on top, so it was a pleasure for me. The jury did a really good job on finding the perfect speed for every group. My first jump was really good, one of the best ones of the season for me, says Norwegian Halvor Egner Granerud.

The victory race was still tight after the first round. Norway was leading, but Germany was only 9,5 points behind. The fight for the podium places was still open before the last jumpers. Austria, who have won all the other team competitions in the season, ended up being fourth. The conditions were good and the wind played no part in todays competition.

– Competition was very good for us, because we stand on the podium. Also the sports level was very good today, says Polish Kamil Stoch.
