Cheer on athletes or enjoy After Ski in the OmaSp Fan Zone. Live music, student event, various food and drink services, event merchandise and other sale products, Lahti Ski Games’ postmarks and stamps, Saturday night’s fireworks show, professional commentators, hosts and DJs, and e.g. our Men with Wooden Skis are waiting for you to spend an unforgettable weekend!

Areas and activities

Kids’ Area in Karpalo

Kids’ Area in Karpalo offers activities, games and speed for kids! The Kidz’ Snow Fun Tour provided by the Finnish Ski Association, the Finnish Biathlon Association and Finnish winter sports clubs offers inspiring and diverse winter sports activities for all children and their families. Mascots, like Hopsu and Tuisku, visit the area many times during the weekend. At the camp fire you can warm up your own snacks or buy cold sausages to do so. Area’s small café sells sells sweet and savory Belgian waffles (not gluten free nor vegan) and for example coffee, tea, hot chocolate and juice.

Kidz’ Snow Fun Tour is organized by the Finnish Ski Association, and it offers diverse winter sport activities. Polaris builds an ATV-track for children and mascots, like Hopsu and Tuisku, visit the area many times during the weekend. At the camp fire you can warm up your own snacks. Area’s small café sells saturday and sunday also Belgian waffles (not gluten free nor vegan) and hot chocolate, coffee, tea and juice.

Suurhalli – Family Indoor Activity

Suurhalli is a warm indoor area for families offering diverse activities during the whole weekend! We recommend children under 10 years of age staying with their parent in the area. Every children no matter of their age is on their parents’ responsibility.

Family Indoor Activity offers ball games, bouncy castles, mascots and shows. There are also toilets, and a childcare room.

At the Salppuri Restaurant, you can enjoy lunch from the buffet with the whole family. Salad table and hot food available, every day also a vegetarian option. The restaurant is open on Friday from 11:00 to 17:00, Saturday from 10:30 to 18:00 and Sunday from 10:30 to 17:30.

Frost Fest – Student Event

This year, there’s something special for students! The first-ever Frost Fest Student Event will take over on Friday. The student ticket includes access to not only the event’s checkpoints, but stage entertainment, competition programme, and everything else happening in the event area too.

Ski Museum

Access to Ski Museum with Lahti Ski Games’ ticket! Ski Museum offers interactive action as well as traditional exhibitions.

After Ski

Relaxing, music, food and drinks! Live music starts already at 1:00 PM on Friday with Levi-Äijä, Ressu Redford at approximately 5:35 PM, and Eini at around 8:30 PM!

On Saturday Levi-Äijä is accompanied by Brädi at 2:35 PM and Sara Siipola at 4:30 PM. After the evening’s ski jumping competition and the legendary fireworks show, the OmaSp Fan Zone area becomes an 18+ zone. The late-night gigs feature Aste at approximately 7:45 PM and the internationally renowned electronic music star and DJ Darude at around 9:00 PM, bringing the night to a spectacular close!

On Sunday, we recover from Saturday with a relaxed hangout, good drinks and tasty food. Master of ceremonies, Levi-Äijä, keeps the pace.

Red Bull Forest Area

Red Bull Forest Area is located on the hill next to the ski stadium. Red Bull Forest Area has a screen, sound system, bar, some food and toilets.

Red Bull Forest Area is open on Saturday 10:30-16:30 and on Sunday 11-15:30.
